Regression Therapy FAQs

These are the questions people ask me most before we start working together: who I am, how the work goes, and the practical side of it.
If your question is about one kind of session, that page goes deeper. And if it isn’t here at all, ask me on a free clarity call.
Essentials
Are You a Hypnotherapist?
Not as a separate title. Hypnosis is part of my regression therapy certification, and I rarely use it on its own. When I do, it’s one part of a session that also works with the body and with memory. You stay aware the whole time, and nothing happens without your agreement.
Do I Have to Believe in Anything for This to Work?
No. You don’t need to believe in past lives, energy or anything else. Some people arrive skeptical and stay that way. What matters is noticing what comes up, in your body and in your mind, and staying curious about it. The work doesn’t depend on what you believe it is.
What If I Don’t Know How to Explain What’s Wrong?
You don’t have to. Most people who come to me feel that something’s off but can’t name it. That’s where we begin. You’ll be guided, not pushed, and over time you’ll learn to hear what your system has been trying to tell you all along.
About the Work
Which Kind of Session Is Right for Me?
You don’t have to know yet. Past life regression is for patterns with no clear origin. Somatic trauma healing is for what the body still holds. Grief therapy is for loss that hasn’t moved. Power and purpose work is for feeling lost or stuck. Most sessions draw on more than one, and we choose together.
What’s the Difference Between Regression Therapy and Somatic Trauma Healing?
Somatic trauma healing starts with the body: the tension, the bracing, the reactions that fire before you can think. Regression therapy follows those feelings back to the memory underneath, whether that’s early life or something that feels older. I often use both in one session, starting with the body so the deeper work feels safe.
Is This Like Talk Therapy?
In some ways. We talk, and I listen closely. But talking isn’t the main tool. Much of the work happens in the body and in the memories underneath a reaction, rather than in analyzing it. Many people come after years of talk therapy, and some keep seeing a therapist while they work with me.
Can This Help With Physical Symptoms?
When pain or tension has no clear medical cause, I work with what the body may still be holding: stress, old reactions, experiences that were never processed. I don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions, and this work supports medical care rather than replacing it. Please keep seeing your doctor, and tell me what they’ve found.
What Are Your Qualifications?
I’m a Certified Regression Therapist. I trained through the Regression Academy (PLRA) in 2019, earned their Advanced Regression Therapy Certification in 2023, and I’m a member of the EARTh Association and the Spiritual Regression Therapy Association. I’m not a licensed mental health provider, so this work sits alongside medical and mental health care rather than replacing it.
The four healing paths

For patterns that don’t trace back to anything you can remember.
Somatic Trauma Healing

Purpose Coaching
For feeling lost or stuck when life looks fine from the outside.
Practical Details
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
There’s no fixed number. It depends on what you’re carrying and how your system responds. Sessions run ninety minutes to two hours, and most people come weekly or every ten days, depending on how intense the work is. We talk about what might suit you on the clarity call, and adjust as we go.
Do You Offer Online Sessions?
Yes. All four kinds of work happen online in the same way they do in person, and most of my clients work with me online. You just need a quiet, private space and a steady connection. If you’re near Fort Collins, in-person sessions are also available at my practice.
What Happens After a Session?
I check in with you about 24 hours later to see how you’re settling. You can also contact me between sessions if something comes up. And I’ll give you a few simple tools to use at home, so your system has support while things settle and integrate.
I’m Curious, but Not Sure Where to Start.
That’s what the free clarity call is for. You don’t need a plan or the right words. We’ll talk by Zoom or phone about what’s been coming up for you, and see together whether this is a path you’re ready to take right now. There’s no pressure either way.
